Back in November, the Coochie Community Shopping Service (CCSS) was advised that fuel can no longer be carried as part of the regular shopping service.
Because fuel is still a very real and ongoing need for island residents, a separate fuel run (from the shopping service) has now been established. This service is open to all Coochie residents and is currently running monthly (See last week's edition to read about the Coochiemudlo Community Shopping Service)

Transparency note (and a small dose of common sense):
The original content for this article was provided by Bet Bellette, Treasurer of the Coochie Community Fuel Service. Iβve used my AI sidekick to tidy it up for clarity, flow, and general readability, because fuel logistics are important but shouldnβt require a stiff drink to get through.
The animated image was generated with help from Meta AI. Handy for visuals, terrible for real-world decision-making. So just to be crystal clearβ¦ if this slightly Tom Sawyer-ish imagery inspires you to build a raft, load your ute with jerry cans, and attempt a solo voyage to Viccy Point, please donβt. That story does not end with applause.
Friendly reminder: AI is clever, creative, and occasionally hilarious, but it is not a substitute for maritime law, physics, or common sense
